What we do

​​​​​​​​​​​Kannada Bharati is a volunteer led non-profit organization, registered in the state of Washington and serving the Seattle area community of Kannadigas. We promote cultural heritage/tradition of Karnataka.

We offer classes for Hindustani/Carnatic classical music, Folk/Classical dance (Bharatanatya), Yoga, Drama and Arts. At the end of the Kannada Bharati school year, children and adults demonstrate their learning on stage during Annual Day celebrations.

Classes are offered to kids 5 years or older. Each class may have 10-15 students with upto 3 adult volunteer teachers. All classes and activities provide a fun‐filled learning experience and are held on Sundays. We follow the Bellevue school district calendar for holidays.
